Job Description:Our client, is a leading retailer in the home decor industry, is seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Keyholder. As a Keyholder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their retail stores and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing product knowledge and recommendations
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including merchandise displays and shelves
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any restocking needs to the store manager
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including cash handling and loss prevention measures
- Assist in opening and closing the store, including cash reconciliation and security procedures
- Train and mentor new team members on store operations, product knowledge, and customer service standards
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Collaborate with the store manager to achieve sales targets and drive store performance
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in a keyholder or supervisory role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash and transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
- Knowledge of home decor products or related industry is a plus
