Job description

Our client, a leader in manufacturing/distribution who specializes in supply chain solution, is looking for a dynamic, creative and results-driven Marketing Communications Coordinator to join their team for a 6-month freelance basis. 

If you are coming out of university, or have held internships within the B2B space (utilizing tools such as HubSpot, Adobe Creative and Microsoft platforms), this could be a fantastic role for you! You will work directly with the Marketing Director, who has been known as an excellent mentor and teacher. 

Responsibilities: 

Content Marketing

  • Develop compelling content/social/PR strategies/assets, individually and with agency partners, that engage audiences and position the brand as a potential supply chain partner.
  • Conceptualize programs/assets, share knowledge and arrange access to subject matter experts, edit content and oversee monthly calendar execution of high-quality blogs, press releases, articles, white papers, videos/podcasts, case studies, presentations, surveys, email, web copy and more.
  • Manage all content distribution through HubSpot and digital channels/social platforms with industry best practices to increase market presence and audience interaction.
  • Measure and improve program/lead funnel performance; create dashboards/reports with HubSpot, Google Analytics and social media analytic tools.

Integrated Marketing

  • Deploy a mix of integrated, inbound and outbound tactics—including email, paid media, PR, social media, webinars, prospecting, trade shows, events and more—that deliver brand awareness gains, and marketing qualified leads to support customer acquisition.

Sales Enablement

  • Design and deliver insight and tools that enable new business development and account management teams to successfully prospect, engage and win business.

Corporate Communications

  • Identify, plan and implement organizational communication tactics that deliver unified, consistent, and positive messages to internal and external audiences. 

Leadership

  • Work closely with senior leaders, sales and human resource teammates, marketing partners and others to create effective strategies that consistently communicate with segmented audiences.
  • Ensure deliverables balance audience needs with solution messaging, use best marketing practices and are on brand/time/budget
  • Prioritize projects and manage production to meet deadlines in a fluid environment.
  • Other duties needed to help accomplish the company’s goals.


Skills and Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications preferred
  • 2+ years of B2B experience with inbound marketing, integrated lead generation, solution selling and organizational communication
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics and MS Office products
  • Exceptional written, graphic and verbal communication skills
  • Expert, working knowledge of HubSpot marketing automation and CRM application
  • High capacity, integrity, self-motivated, purposeful with confidence to build working relationships
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing and/or distribution industries preferred
