Job description

Our client, a well-known financial institution, is looking to bring on an Operations Manager to support their Marketing Division. This will be a fulltime role.  This role will be remote to start, but eventually will be hybrid on-site and remote.

Overview:

This position is a highly cross-functional and collaborative role, requiring both strategic and tactical execution. We are looking for a true team player who has previously executed operations, supported development for high-growth Marketing organizations, and maintains exceptional problem solving and collaboration skills. With financial services being so heavily regulated, as it pertains to marketing, this individual must possess a minimum of four years of experience within a Compliance role.  

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify trends and assess root causes for performance (using data to support the analysis).

  • Develop and implement new process to support an agile marketing model and optimize current ones by working with marketing team so they can be more efficient in their day-to-day work with LOBs, Risk, Compliance, and other cross-functional teams.

  • Create method for continuous improvement  

  • Work with tech or manage tech vendors to ensure that new processes are implemented and integrated with marketing operation tools (e.g. Workfront, file sharing, Adobe etc.)

  • Ensure that all processes are tied to department and individual goals with the following expected outcomes: 1.) reduce errors 2.)  Increase project speed while maintaining quality and adherence to Compliance rules and regulations 3.) Create historical and forecasting reports to track project intake to production output to assess project pipeline and 4.) Use reporting  to work  with all Creative Resources  (both internal and external) to assign and align staff to projects

  • Work with Compliance, Audit, etc. to ensure that we are meeting all rules and regulations (e.g.  RCSA requirements and deadlines).

  • Maintain the Marketing Departments budget and vendors– manage line items, report on cost savings, analyze ROI, and communicate areas for growth.

  • Suggest strategies for untapped areas of marketing investment, to help design and lead the continual evolution and scaling of our marketing org and strategy.

Qualifications:

  • 5 - 7 years of related experience

  • Project management tools (Workfront, Jira, Trello).

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
