About the Position   

We are looking for an experienced SVP to lead the planning, buying and analytics teams, oversee the client strategy and delivery teams and help further develop our technological sophistication to drive incredible results for our clients.  

As the SVP, you should be well-versed in all digital advertising channels, knowing innately what makes each platform perform, and bring a distinctive and highly effective strategy to campaign optimization. You will oversee and be accountable for the successful planning, implementation, analysis and consistently improving performance of all our digital advertising campaigns. Your role will focus on leading a team of analysts and platform experts, which is responsible for providing recommendations and insights that drive engagement and conversions to elevate the digital user experience at all touch points. 

This is a leadership role that will oversee and manage all functions of our digital advertising department, including planning, campaign setup, campaign optimization, analysis, insights and reporting and client delivery, profitability, retention and upsell.  

The advertising environment in our SaaS allows for expansive opportunity to make our current processes more sophisticated, by layering in additional data science techniques. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, with a great degree of experience applying data science techniques to achieve the best possible campaign results for our clients, as well as deep expertise in which platform-specific features drive the best results. Your high-level expertise and oversight of our technology for clients will be mission critical to our ability to scale.

You will report directly to the President, since you will be empowered to heavily participate in moving the organization forward as we strive to achieve extremely aggressive growth expectations.

Responsibilities 

  • Lead and oversee a team of 8 and growing, responsible for the strategy, execution and success of client campaigns, while maintaining a high-quality standard that ensures internal profitability and performance. 
  • Architect the next iteration and feature sets of our technology to advance the audience-centric focus of our ad tech and continue differentiating our solution from all others.
  • Guide your team to proactively monitor and report on media campaigns on a regular basis, providing an active voice communicating insights such as optimization opportunities and challenges to internal teams and the client.
  • Be the SME across our digital ad products, tools, and workflows to support the day-to-day operational needs of stakeholders in a way that continues to improve and strengthen our end-to-end delivery.
  • Lead internal planning efforts and external client meetings, to ensure we better present our value and bring new thinking to our clients.  
  • Collaborate with the partner team by providing ideas on how to continually improve operational processes and our technology.
  • Lead the creation and presentation of advanced media specific documents, such as media plans, objectives and strategies decks, and other related functions.
  • Lead overarching strategic thinking, ensuring media strategy is aligned and meets client objectives; provide POVs if/when opportunity to improve objectives is present.
  • Develop thought leadership on best practices, media principles, and industry changes at large.
  • Monitor trends, tools, opportunities and applications within digital environments, and appropriately apply that knowledge to campaign strategy and client goals.

 

SVP Require Experience

  • Min. 8 years of digital advertising experience, preferably working with larger brands and budgets
  • Experience with data science tools such as Tableau, Datorama, and Data Studio greatly preferred
  • Fluent in digital media, including search and shopping (Google and Bing), paid social (Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Twitter), programmatic (incl. CTV), direct display buys, affiliate networks, etc
  • Ability to work comfortably under pressure and prioritize multiple work responsibilities, with competing demands, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism 
  • Highly technically adept, with a thorough understanding of leading MarTech and its applicability to solving complex, media-related issues
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills 
  • A strong desire to define and deliver a high performing, game-changing advertising experience for our clients
  • Experience developing custom programs, big activation ideas and communications planning
  • Deep understanding of the ad tech ecosystem, biddable media and analytics and attribution principles
  • POV on utilization of ad servers, attribution partners, data providers, feed optimization tools and future targeting & tracking challenges, etc
