About:
A world renowned Luxury Artist & Photographer has taken on a new creative project and entered the world of Beauty. The team are leveraging their vast experience on luxury goods and branding, creative expertise, and global influencers network to pioneer on the prestige skincare market. The skincare brand was born out of the desire to transform body care in pleasure via self-care rituals inspired by ancient stories and beauty registrations. The brand will be focused of transformative textures, exotics ingredients and spa-like services and results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify consumer insights market trends/consumer needs /innovation – build innovation pipeline

• Delivery state-or-art formulas sensorially and in efficacy

• Efficient end-to-end project management to launch products

• Build & manage relationships with suppliers to develop products in line with technical, commercial & consumer needs

• Brief and lead product development requirements with the suppliers to produce optimum products/packaging against key criteria

• Challenge supplier capabilities to deliver true innovation

• Work closely with the Founders to ensure all new products comply with technical/ethical standards. Liaise with The Founders when required to validate key claims and on –pack messaging

• Work with Creative team to develop artwork claims which clearly communicates the product USPs and aligns to brand guidelines

• Liaise with external packaging companies/printers to ensure all artwork is to spec and approved by all necessary team members

• Support sales team to ensure they have commercials, samples, artwork and robust USPs as required for retailer presentations

• Attend retailer presentations as required to present new products to the senior buying team

• Work closely with logistics team to ensure supply chain efficiencies – including producing pallet plans and optimising transport costs

• Manage factory trials and attend first production runs to ensure all product elements are to spec

Key Technical Skills/Knowledge/Professional Qualifications Required:

• 5+ years skincare product development experience in luxury market.

• Knowledge of the beauty/skincare/cosmetics

• Working knowledge of technical aspects of cosmetics/beauty/skincare development/innovation

• Experience of managing multiple projects and working under pressure to tight deadlines
