Operations ManagerClient Overview:
Our Client is the frontrunner of leading K-beauty brands they are looking for an Operation Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to make a significant impact on the company’s growth. They are looking for a driven professional who is inspired by a high-growth environment and the opportunity to join their growing team. In this important role, the Operation Manager will report to CEO and manage the operational process, including the day-to-day management of the fulfillment requests.
Operations Manager Roles and Responsibilities:
• Ensure all sales channels have sufficient inventory and successful delivery across all sales channels
• Manage the external warehouses daily activities and workflow volume relating to transferring, receiving, and shipping goods
• Develop functional relationship with the third party warehouse to oversee the inventories including cycle counting and inventory audit
• Review the invoice and cost items from the third party warehouse and logistics companies
• Facilitate and establish priorities as needed to provide optimal service to our business partners and customers
• Communicate with supply chain, customer service in Korea and freight forwarders to optimize shipping activities
• Communicate with online channel manager with respect to deliveries and shipments of retail orders
• Analyze and manage distribution violations and chargebacks, initiating corrective actions as needed
• Provide reporting as needed for shipping activities to relevant departments
• Review daily reporting to monitor shipping and billing flow
• Troubleshoot lost, damaged, or delayed shipments and conduct reconciliation of inventory data
• Assist larger team (designers, developers, managers) with fulfillment requirements for new or updated products
• Field any fulfillment related customer support requests
• Provide quantitative reports on fulfillment issues and metrics such as safety stock level, order backlog, shipping expense, errors, etc.
Operations Manager Key Qualifications:
• Experience in Oracle ERP Netsuite or similar EPR systems
• 3+ years or over experience in logistics or warehouse management systems background required
• Retail area experience is preferred
• Understanding in supply chain including EDI
• Understanding in custom procedure
• Knowledge in inventory management
• Strong communication, organizational and follow through skills
• Open minded in cultural difference
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong computer skills, proficiency in Excel
• Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and willingness to manage new projects with deadlines
• Korean bilingual preferred
