Job description

Our client, a renowned Video Game Developer, is looking for a Paid Media Manager to join their team. This is a 1-year freelance contract, 40 hours a week, with the potential to extend. This role is fully remote – candidates can be located anywhere in the United States, but EST is preferred. Send your resume today to be considered!

The ideal candidate knows the advertising ecosystem deeply enough to not only take full advantage of all its tools and strengths, but to understand and innovate past its fundamental flaws. In this role you will execute media strategy for one or more first party titles, working with marketing, creative, analytics, and product teams to drive growth and improved engagement through paid and organic channels.

The ideal candidate will have a mix of the qualifications below:
1.           1-2 years’ experience in digital media, preferably within the games industry across PC, mobile, and console verticals
2.           Experience working on global campaigns, including insights and optimization based on different countries and cultures
3.           Experience with new products and optimization methods with ad partners
4.           Practical experience running self-service and managed UA including search, social, programmatic, influencer; non-digital a bonus
5.           Experience designing, running, and reporting creative tests
6.           Experience doing UA worldwide, knowing the channel, creative, and bidding nuances of each major region
7.           Expert in Excel, Tableau; SQL and query skills a bonus
 
Responsibilities include:
1.           Paid media strategy and campaign execution across PC, mobile, and console games
2.           Working with engineers and analysts to build in house systems for reporting and programmatic optimization
3.           Funnel optimization
4.           Spearheading new ways of problem-solving for growth and retention utilizing quantitative and creative methods
5.           Working with the game and marketing teams to build out marketing plans and campaigns for key initiatives
6.           Ad partner management--including a hands-on approach, working with partners to test new things and push what is possible
