24 Seven is partnering with one of our apparel company clients to find them a Photo Producer in this full-time, salaried role. The client is asking that this employee come on-site in a hybrid model schedule.

Job Description

Responsible for the coordination of all photography (on-model and still) and video related functions. In addition, this role coordinates the operational scheduling of assigned photo shoots from conception to completion and participates in negotiations and facilitates arrangements with photographers, models, and stylists. Management of all travel, transportation, and accommodation arrangements, as well as working with Photo Director to define and manage the budget.

 Requirements

  • Working knowledge of photo production schedules and process.
  • Experience in producing on model and still photography.
  • Extremely high level of organization and communication skills, and the ability to manage high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to think strategically and understand business implications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong negotiation skills.
  • Must possess strong client-interaction skills and a positive approach.
  • Ability to proactively identify challenges and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to balance multiple needs and meticulously track and organize many resources.
  • Proficient with software applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Filemaker Pro. DAM knowledge a plus.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop with Photo Director and manage all photography budgets.
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple overlapping photo shoots.
  • Accountable for successful delivery of assigned projects on time and on budget.
  • Partner with the Creative Director and Art Directors to understand the creative vision to execute the photography.
  • Assists Photo Director in casting, scheduling, and booking of models.
  • Research suitable locations and studios categorize files and make recommendations to the Photo Director as to the most appropriate sites for executing the photography.
  • Stay current with industry trends and new resources as well as establishing relationships with all external resources (location agencies, modeling agencies, photographers, hair and make- up artists, stylists, props, set builders, baby wranglers, production friendly hotels, etc.) Keep Creative Director and Art Directors up to date.
  • Help identify and manage all external resources to translate project from vision to reality, while establishing and maintaining freelance database.
  • Negotiate fees, coordinate, and schedule all flights, ground transportation, accommodations, catering, secure permits, and insurance related to location photography projects.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed historical account of all location photography projects, including budgets, and all external resources.
