Photo Retoucher Overview:
As Photo Retoucher, you will be retouching and correcting images for the company’s website and promotional materials. You will also be responsible for collaborating with various cross-functional teams to establish photo direction and selection.
Photo Retoucher Responsibilities:
· Oversee all aspects of photo production shoots, including concept development, direction, selection, and execution
· Provide detailed retouching, color correction, and enhancement of photos
· Set and style the product aligned with the established objectives and prepare images and clip, edit, and drop in necessary background
· Solve retouching challenges while maintaining a high level of technical precision
· Maintain digital asset organization - uploading photos, file naming conventions, managing approvals, tagging and metadata
· Self-manage against timelines using a project management platform to track project status
· Be an active member of the in-house creative team
· Effectively communicate with inter-departmental stakeholders
· Maintain top-level output at high volume under tight deadlines
Photo Retoucher Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, photography, or related field preferred
· 3-5 years Photo Retouching experience
· Excellent knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
· Experience on a range of retouching including advertising, editorial and still life retouching
· Working knowledge of all photographic formats and processing skills, including RAW image files, Photoshop, Bridge, and Capture One
· Knowledge of Final Cut and After Effects
· Passionate and takes an interest in the work
· Time management skills and highly organized
· A robust retouching portfolio that demonstrates consistency and proficiency in retouching, compositing, and color correcting
