Salary: $80-90k
Job Description
The Product Manager is responsible for the product development and ongoing management of assigned product categories. They will coordinate closely with the sales, marketing, purchasing and product development teams to ensure the products are launched properly through multiple channels within the company as well as with sales reps, distributors and retailers. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to juggle numerous activities at once is crucial.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the development and management of products that strengthen the brand and increase sales
• Represent and champion the voice of the customer across the organization to shape and deliver products that fill gaps in the market
• Work cross-functionally within the organization to ensure assigned products are positioned for a successful launch
• Contribute to product marketing strategies (pricing, marketing, product launch, etc.)
• Follow and analyze market trends to position existing products and develop new ones
• Responsible for ongoing monitoring and evaluation of brand and product presence online
• Responsible for aiding in gathering, conducting, organizing and reporting product and market related information. Market research will include quantitative and qualitative methodologies
• Develop and deliver product presentations to sales force, marketing, and customer service teams
• Support sales team in communicating and managing forecasts. Work closely with supply chain to control inventory to meet inventory and sales objectives
• Evaluate projects using relevant key performance indicators
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in marketing, account management or project management
• Solid financial and business acumen and ability to handle numerous products simultaneously
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Strategic thinker who is also extremely detail oriented
• Problem solver who possesses a positive attitude
• Works independently, flexible, and resourceful
• Regular and reliable attendance

• Must have ability to read, write and communicate fluent English; ability to compose documents in the appropriate business style using correct grammar and spelling; ability to communicate clearly using proper grammar
• Ability to work overtime as needed
