Job description
Our client, a boutique ad agency, is seeking a Production Designer skilled in Sketch, to join their team on a contract to hire basis. This is a fully remote role. Applicants must come from an ad agency background.
Your day-to-day will be fairly dynamic, but will typically involve actively designing (of course!), as well as coordinating with various teams (via Slack and Slack calls) to discuss projects, review progress, and prioritize action items on an on-going basis. You’ll have opportunities to work directly with senior design staff, illustrators, and motion designers, as well as communicate your point of view to help improve the creative process.
Our ideal candidate is process driven and can follow directions well in a collaborative environment. They are excited by the opportunity to assist the design team in a wide variety of media, along with a logical approach to project and asset creation workflows.
Responsibilities:

Assist in designing sites, microsites, emails, and marketing pieces.

Maintain integrity of design systems.

Maintain cloud-based data entry documents.

Coordinate with senior team members to meet project deadlines.

Prep files for hand-off to development teams.

Prep print files for production.

Stay up to date with the latest trends on mobile and web.

Collaborate remotely and support the design team with daily tasks and projects.

Communicate with illustrators for various ongoing projects.
Skills:

You have 3+ years of design experience in the digital space.

You are proficient in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign) Sketch.

You have a firm understanding of wireframes, sitemaps, and user journeys as inputs.

You are detail oriented in all aspects of your work.

You are flexible and have an ability to handle multiple projects and work streams at once.

You have strong time management skills with a self starting attitude.

You have the ability to receive and interpret feedback effectively/efficiently.

Bonus points for illustration skills is a plus.

Bonus points for After Effects and Premier experience.

You’re confident and proactive, but can keep ego in-check.
