Job Description:Highly organized and motivated self- starter needed to fill the role at a growing luxury lifestyle apparel brand. We are a top seller at Major Department, Specialty Retailers globally, and Direct to Consumers.
Must have proven track record of managing production, on time delivery, and quality control for apparel.
Must have thorough knowledge of fabrics, trims, novelty washes, and sourcing for both factories and product development.
Extensive experience developing and working within a set calendar timeframe to meet specified deliverables.
Manage daily communications among overseas vendors
Responsible for gross margin and costing, purchase orders and SKU set up.
Ability to re-source for cost savings, fabric hand feel and delivery dates
Highly experienced in cut & sew knits, fully fashioned knitwear, and some wovens
Negotiate prices with vendors
Oversee technical design and calendar for fit samples, TOP samples, and all aspects of production
Work closely with Design team and Merchandiser
Proficiency in Excel required
Knowledge of logistics, trims, poly bags, labels. and sustainability in fabrics and process
Costing and profit margin driven
** On-site Monday to Friday in NYC **
MUST have Sleep, Lingerie, Lounge or Lifestyle Apparel experience.
