Client Overview:Our client is looking for a Specialist, Stand Alone Boutique – to join our team. You will play a leading role in managing the key vendors responsible for opening new Fragrance and Beauty boutiques. This role interfaces with internal and external partners and is key for successfully opening a new boutique, on time and on budget. Our ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience and a passion for vendor management and construction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new and existing vendors to successfully open boutiques
- Travel for onsite visits, validating progress and execution of elevated details
- Implement strategic opportunities for cost savings and efficient timelines
- Project management skills and prioritizing tasks
- Opportunities to work collaboratively with various teams internally and externally
- Visit construction sites and prepare reports from possession to completion
- Work directly with the landlord tenant coordinator
- Issue purchase orders and process invoices
- Review leases
- Support manager in forecasting budgets / timelines and updating as the project progresses
- Organize bidding and awarding consultants, and supervise their activities and outcome
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience with construction administration, architecture or similar fields
- Locations: New York, Los Angeles, or Las Vegas
- 25% travel required
- Hybrid work environment
- Display curiosity about sustainability initiatives, construction methods and sourcing strategies
- Background in construction administration and or architecture
- Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities
- Must be an organized team player with solid interpersonal skills
- Creative thinker with the desire to strategize with various teams
