Our client, a sustainable Beauty Brand, is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join their organization in the temp capacity.Role & Responsibilities:
1. Perform product evaluations and approvals (Color, Odor, Texture and Appearance) on product aspects such as formula, packaging, and finished goods (50%)
2. Certificate of Analysis (COA) review/approval (20%)
3. Support self-release certification (15%)
4. QC data analysis & metrics support (5%)
5. Support on resetting bulk standards that are expired (5%)
6. Support on managing range boards (5%)
7. Facilitating communication with internal and with external partners with regards to product quality (mainly executed in #1, 2, and 3)
Level or years of Experience:
• 3+ years in quality control in the beauty cosmetic industry (i.e., experience as a quality technician)
• Experience with cosmetic product testing and lab experience
• Good written and verbal skills and effectively presenting data-driven insights
