Remote Design Director (Wellness Brand) Overview:

The Design Director will be responsible for marrying company strategy, customer needs, and brand goals to create and evolve the brand experience. Reporting to the Executive Creative Director and working closely with the cross functional partners, you will be the key stakeholder in bringing all brand communications to life including: brand guidelines, campaigns, packaging, eCommerce, product launches, experiential projects and more.

Remote Design Director (Wellness Brand ) Responsibilities

  • Lead the brand design and story while translating your vision into clear creative direction for our team and partners
  • Lead a team of 5-6 designers to push the brand’s visual expression consistently
  • Experience developing, implementing and evolving brand identities
  • Experience working across all aspects of a brand from campaign and branding to physical product experience design
  • Create memorable brand communications overseeing all stages of visual design from building visual worlds and concepts through production
  • Clearly and concisely express yourself and have a clear, thought-out rationale for your creative ideas.
  • Experience leading a creative team day-to-day overseeing all work from concept to production
  • Establish project cadences, review timelines, and a design process that works for both the creative team and marketing stakeholders
  • Partner with brand and product development to set overall strategic approach and future initiatives planning as well as partner on brief creation

Remote Design Director (Wellness Brand) Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience on a design or brand creative team
  • 4+ years of experience managing direct reports
  • Strategic and thoughtful in their approach to design and branding
  • Appetite for problem solving and a love for fast-paced, constantly-changing environments
  • Great communication and storytelling skills, both verbal and written
  • Expert design skills, including hands-on experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience directing photo shoots and video shoots
