*Freelance for about 6 months, potential to extendClient Overview: An industry-leading wholesale fashion footwear company
Sock Designer Responsibilities:
- Help design spring and summer line of socks (ex: 10 pack of low-cut socks / 3 pack of crew socks / etc.)
- 50-100 designs / concepts across 4 brands: Men’s academic, Ladies’ academic, Men’s athletic, Ladies’ athletic
- Develop new sock design concepts, sketching ideas, and creating technical packages
- Specific experience as a socks designer
- Technical knowledge of fabrics, prints, colors, and trims in relation to socks
- CAD experience
- Has a laptop
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
