Job description

Retail Manager at our Sewing Gallery.
Located in Centennial, CO.
Hourly $20/hr.
40 hours/week so must have open availability including week days/nights and weekends.

Adheres to Human Resource standards by following the general practices outlined in Company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines *

Directly supervises part-time sales employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies. Conducts effective performance discussions; sets clear objectives and holds Associates accountable to goals * Coordinate and execute Owner's Classes, clubs, demos, Creative Classes and freelance educator events to achieve financial goals * Provides excellent customer service and innovates to obtain and retain customers. Demonstrate ability to function as a role model, ensuring that the client remains the top priority * Recruit, select, develop, and retain full store team and hold individuals accountable for performance Qualifications * Creativity and Passion with willingness to share your sewing expertise with our customers * High School diploma or equivalent. Degree in Business or Fashion Design/Merchandising is a Plus!

* One or more years retail experience with a demonstrated success in closing sales. Ability to forecast and analyze business trends, and manage payroll expense in order to maximize store performance
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing retail environment
* Must be able to communicate effectively with employees through multiple forms of technology with telephone and computer. Must be able to receive and convey information
* Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer etc as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
* Required to retrieve or reposition products like sewing machines weighing up to 50 pounds
* Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, holiday and weekend shifts
