Our client is a well-known high growth skincare line that is looking for a new International Key Account Director of Sales and Trade Marketing to join their team!

Reports to: CSO

Location: Remote on the East Coast or Mid West

JOB SUMMARY

Overall responsibility for maintaining productive inventory assortments and levels for all doors of assigned accounts. Manage the timely flow of all saleable and non-saleable products, including pre-shipment analysis, product allocations, order processing and replenishment. Develop and maintain sales and stock plans for each assigned account.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Account Management

  •  Provide data driven recommendations to the Operations and Sales teams on buy strategies and inventory management decisions.
  •  Lead the governance of execution, including Product Life Cycle Management, inventory metrics/measures/projections, change management and accountability.
  • Manage the financial reserves process for excess and obsolete inventory, in collaboration with the Finance team.
  • Build and maintain a three-year inventory strategy with monthly/quarterly metrics and actions.
  • Communicate inventory position, budget, and financial re-forecast to senior management via Dashboards.
  • Formulate and recommend policies, procedures, and processes that guide the organization in improving its cash flow and profitability, while still driving topline growth.
  • Create predictive inventory metrics and targets based on guidance from leaders, and own the analysis and reporting related to those metrics.
  • Work with Sales and Operations and buyers/planners of assigned accounts to develop seasonal sales and stock plans, utilizing launch product shipment schedules. Update these plans monthly based on actual sales, shipments and receipts
  • Negotiate open-to-buy as needed with buyer/planner of assigned accounts
  • Develop regular communication procedure with buyer/planner to review inventory levels
  • Provide RTV tracking for assigned accounts
  • Provide bi-monthly updates to Finance and Sales to ensure latest estimates are met by partner Inventory Analysis
  • Monthly review of inventory to measure accuracy of inventory and overall integrity of ordering
  •  Review launch sell-thru to ensure appropriate allocations Order Writing Process
  • Maintain direct contact with buyers/planners to cover inventory concerns
  • Manage the bi-monthly order process in partnership with assigned accounts and customer service
  •  Manage a PO tracking report consisting of all POs created / processed for the specific amount Retailer.com Support

  • Undergraduate degree in related discipline
  • MUST have beauty planning experience 
  • Retailer account management experience a plus 
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with a focus on Excel (manipulating files and working with formulas) as well as experience with NetSuite
  • Ability to function in a team-based environment as well as independently
  • Self-start adept at problem solving and analysis
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
