Role Overview: Our client is looking for a Sales Assistant to work within their growing Private Label division. The Sales Assistant will help to curate eyewear collections for our retail partners, while maintaining strong relationships with their buying teams. This position is based out of their NYC Showroom.Sales Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing presentations for customer meetings
- Attend sales meetings with key partners
- Compile post meeting recaps and input style information onto customer order templates
- Photograph and catalog new samples – assist with building and distributing product catalogs
- Manage all sample distribution
- Check POs for accuracy and ensure all orders are processed in a timely manner
- Accept, track, and follow up on orders in the system; provide buying teams with updates as needed
- Collaborate with internal Production, Operations, and Shipping teams to ensure timely delivery of all customer orders
- Help with showroom set up for market appointments
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite – specifically Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel
- Proactive and ambitious nature with an eagerness to learn
- Able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to physically sort through and pack samples
