Overview:

The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for working with the Sales team, managing the day to day logistics and customer service for the Sales Department. This is a full-time role, based out of our Manhattan office. This opportunity has potential for growth, where the right individual can evolve into a higher sales position.

The ideal candidate will be reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales. The role will include but is not limited to the following activities:
Support the sales team in assisting clients both in-office and virtually such as: privates, dealers, retailers, e-tailers, auctions, and learn the needs of each client/market
Aid in managing client relationships by providing superior service, follow through on requests and deliveries
Provide logistical and administrative support for the sales team such as memos, jewelry pulls, shipping, and packaging
Prepare and organize product, excel proposals and marketing materials for auction, online sales, and trunk show events
Liaise with Operations team to ensure all transactions are executed, repair and shipment deadlines are met
Potential to attend trade conventions and assist in all product planning, preparations and set-up
Manage showroom appointments with clients from set up to pulling product assortments and breakdown
Keep abreast to our rapidly changing inventory, and all new acquisitions to proactively assist in pitching product to clients on a daily basis
Use inventory system to pitch catalogs to field client requests and fulfill sales outreach
Photograph and log high jewelry candid shots on the shared company drive

Requirements:
At least 2-3 years of experience working within the fine jewelry industry
A self-motivated, organized person with high attention to detail. You proactively plan and structure your work.
Confident to work independently, highly professional and possess a strong team mentality with a willingness to do work above and beyond to get the job done.
Ability to thrive in a rapid pace environment, multitask and excited to take on new challenges.
Have a good sense of current fashions / style with the ability to act as a personal shopper and make recommendations based on clients’ taste and needs.
Take direction well, a fast learner and possess superior follow through skills.
Strong analytical skills with proficient use of Excel.
Potential to conduct business travel to support clients, trade conventions and trunk show events in compliance with COVID19 regulations
Passion and interest in jewelry and learning about the industry is a MUST!
Bachelor’s degree.
