Our client, a dermatologist-approved skincare brand is seeking a Sales Operations Coordinator to join their team. This role is dedicated to supporting the Sales Operations Team.
Role Overview: The Sales Operations Coordinator will assist with new sales account onboarding, customer maintenance (CRM), and tax-related issues. Key responsibilities include verifying and processing customer sales tax exemption documentation to ensure compliance and supporting the Sales Operations team with various tasks and projects.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Manage questions from the US field-based sales team.
- Handle Salesforce CRM tasks assigned to Sales Admin in a timely manner.
- Research and analyze requests to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Review new customer paperwork (CMM workflow) to ensure compliance with commercial policy and validate tax documentation.
- Assist with customer inquiries and provide insights/direction.
- Respond to a high volume of email requests for new account setups, W-9, tax requests, and updates to existing accounts.
- Update and maintain records related to sales tax exemptions to comply with jurisdiction requirements.
- Review tax documents for validity and completion, and upload for external approval.
- Assist with annual resale tax certificate renewals, including pre-filling documents and updating customer records.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales support role, analytics, or financial data department.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced problem-solving abilities.
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly with Excel.
- Salesforce CRM experience preferred.
- Tax compliance experience is a plus.
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems.
This position is fully remote with a competitive rate of up to $33 per hour.
