our client, a well-renowned creative commerce agency, is looking to hire a Senior Field/Account Manager on contract to hire or FT basis! This person would be supporting on one of the agency's largest CPG/spirits brands, must be local to Chicago, and can start ASAP! 

The Senior Field Manager will ensure the achievement of client objects and agency business goals across a platform of varied and diverse “face-to-face” brand activations. You will be the client liaison for the region on all programs from development through execution, managing all facets with a team based in each assigned market within your region.

Senior Field Manager Will:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regional brand and sales teams as well as agency partners for the Central Region
  • Build, develop and nurture client relationships within respective region inclusive of commercial marketing, local sales, state managers and distributor partners, etc.
  • Oversee all aspects of field operations for assigned markets, including trainings, logistic management, scheduling, on-site management, reporting, quality assurance and communication with senior leadership
  • Fully understand the client’s business needs and challenges (including current industry knowledge), while delivering on agency’s business objectives and goals.
  • Provide sound counsel internally and externally regarding programming opportunities, optimization of activations based on insights, and ongoing market results
  • Gather and share market, target, and cultural insights related to program performance, competitors, trends, and threats
  • Work with Account Director to develop, manage, and reconcile execution budgets
  • Directly manage Market Managers and Operations Manager within the region, ensuring full support within each market
  • Responsible for interpreting program results, summarizing findings, and working with Market Managers and senior team members to recommend program enhancements and/or changes to optimize business growth and opportunities
  • Providing added value to client business through seamless execution, innovative solutions, and progressive ideas
  • Aiding in the development of briefs and/or program documents with leadership

Senior Field Manager Must Have/Be:

  • Experience overseeing spirit-based programming preferred
  • Proficiency of three-tier system and local alcohol sampling laws; 21 years of age or older
  • Experience and comfort working in an ambiguous environment.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment, maintaining accountability for workstreams that require high involvement from colleagues, direct reports, and management.
  • Strong track record of establishing and maintaining cross-functional, working relationships (in-person and remote).
  • Experience training peers and subordinates, while monitoring the team’s resulting output.
  • Effective and adaptive communication skills: can synthesize information quickly, clearly and concisely to management, and tailor it to the objectives of the audience.
  • Ability to lead and influence clients and manage expectations effectively by providing sound counsel, identifying and implementing recommendations that advance/improve client’s business, educating the client on when/where the agency can be most impactful and proactively communicating project progress
  • Skilled in MS Office; Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 5– 7 years’ relevant experience within field, account or operation management, supervising teams
