The Position

Based in New York, the Senior Manager, Customer Marketing Operations will play a critical role in the companies growth and will directly support thousands of families in their senior living search each year. This individual will lead and implement our cross-channel customer marketing strategy and will own campaign development and execution. The Senior Manager will work cross functionally with sales, sales operations, content, engineering and analytics teams to drive conversion and revenue by launching nurture programs backed by customer data, macro trends and marketing triggers. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Customer Marketing this individual will define the strategy for our customer database and will manage a direct report responsible for customer marketing data and insights, including a robust test & learn agenda.

You are a customer marketing and operations expert that keeps the customer at the center of everything you do.  You have experience working with sophisticated marketing and sales data and leveraging marketing automation triggers in campaign execution.  You embody a test & learn mentality and are passionate about leveraging data to create engaging, meaningful touchpoints for our customers utilizing Email, SMS, Phone and other nurture channels. You are an outcomes oriented self-starter with a strong attention to detail who likes working in a fast paced environment. Set and lead the implementation of cross-channel customer marketing strategy to help nurture our families in the funnel

Increase lead conversion, driving revenue from existing leads and our customer database

Develop nurture strategies aligned to our key customer segments – working with marketing segmentation team to personalize journeys throughout the funnel

Own delivering financial outcomes and communicating progress against goals to broader team

Own campaign development and execution across nurture channels (Email, SMS and Phone)

Consult and work closely with sales operations teams on dialing strategy and lead prioritization

Lead collaborative efforts with sales and engineering teams to operationalize, scale and automate winning customer marketing test and learn initiatives

Manage direct report responsible for customer marketing test and learn, data and insights and external agencies/partners


At least 7 years of experience in marketing and/or operations roles

Expertise working with and running campaigns in and across marketing technology and automation platforms including Marketo, Segment, Prompt.io 

Experience working with CRM and EDW data to create customer marketing campaigns

Experience managing a high octane test & learn agenda

Self-motivated and resourceful; energized about a hands-on and fast paced culture

Collaborative team player, ready to share success across a high-performing marketing team
