Job description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented B2B Marketing Campaign Specialist to execute a variety of marketing tasks that drive lead generation and brand engagement. This role involves setting up new web pages, crafting and repurposing email content, pulling and managing lists, and working closely with our client's email team. You will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop short-form content across email, social media, and web platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Development: Work cross-functionally with marketing colleagues and SMEs to create compelling B2B lead generation campaigns.
  • Content Creation: Develop short-form content for emails, social media, and web pages, ensuring it aligns with our brand and messaging.
  • Project Management: Maintain detailed marketing campaign plans using existing templates and processes. Utilize WorkFront to manage projects and collaborate with internal and external creative resources.
  • Publishing & Distribution: Coordinate the publication of campaign content through our owned channels, including email, social media, and optum.com.
  • Performance Measurement: Track and analyze the performance of content across various channels, including optum.com, campaign landing pages, external trade publications, social/paid media, and events. Update campaign scorecards with results.
  • Collaboration: Work with the email team and other internal resources to ensure the successful execution of campaigns. Engage with SMEs for product knowledge and leverage available resources to enhance content quality.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to evolving strategies and contribute ideas for improving campaign effectiveness.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably within Optum, UHG, or UHC.
  • Skills: Proficient in short-form B2B copywriting with a knack for creating engaging and persuasive content. Strong understanding of data insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with marketing tools such as WorkFront, Eloqua, and Stensul. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Communication: Excellent communicator with the ability to work efficiently in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Work Ethic: Self-starter, autonomous worker, critical thinker, highly organized, and detail-oriented. Not easily overwhelmed by complex tasks or tight deadlines.
  • Additional Skills: Marketing project management experience and strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Tools Experience: Experience with Eloqua and Stensul or similar email marketing tools.
  • B2B Expertise: B2B marketing experience is preferred, though not required.
