Our client is a one of the fastest growing independent beauty houses in the world. Their current brand portfolio is focused on the self- tanning category comprised of three operating brands. 

Sr. Marketing Manager Overview:

The Head of US Marketing will be responsible for leading the growth, content and community teams across the brands in the U.S. You will plan and execute on all marketing initiatives, build brand awareness and establish our brand voice and mission.

The Sr. Marketing Manager will ensure that all design, development and implementation of marketing strategies reflect the commercial requirements of the global business and expansion but with a specific U.S. approach.

The Sr. Marketing Manager will oversee the day to day running of the US marketing and social teams, developing key social and content strategies and driving completion of activities in line with objectives.

Sr. Marketing Manager Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of the US marketing team overseeing all aspects of social media, content, influencer strategies across the portfolio of brands
  • Oversee all social media execution, managing social strategy, content creation, and reporting
    • Utilize channels based on their strengths
  • Lead US influencer strategy with the goal of strengthening current relationships and building new to increase brand awareness and ultimately drive REV
  • Concept, plan, and execute marketing initiatives
    • Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plan and strategies,
  • product concepts, and promotional programs to drive interest and sales
  • Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including tracking, results
  • reporting, analysis, and recommendations
  • Build brand awareness and establish our brand voice/mission
    • Develop our brands and ensure consistency across channels
    • Develop brand partnerships to drive brand awareness
    • Identifying and leading relationships with key brand partners and individuals, ensuring the brands are maximizing opportunities for raising brand awareness and working with the Sales function teams to develop revenue opportunities
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept
  • informed of marketing objectives
  • Continue to build and strengthen retail relationships
  • Work with the VP of Marketing to establish strategies for each retail partner based on past performance and market forecasts with overall responsibility for consistent brand messaging and identity

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Work experience as a manager of marketing, preferably within the beauty industry
  • Experience running successful marketing campaigns
  • Strong creative vision
  • Passion for social media and the evolving social landscape
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to communicate effectively in speech and writing
