Client Overview:Our client is looking for a creative, ready-to-jump-in Senior Writer who’s not only great with words, but able to manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively. You’ll be an essential part of bringing the overall voice and vibe of our client's vision to life, so a creative thinker with a self-starter attitude and sense of initiative is a must. Reporting to the Head of Editorial Brand Strategy, your work will span from writing email and social copy to assisting with product naming and campaign concepting.
Responsibilities:
• Support Head of Editorial Brand Strategy with creating impactful, on-brand messaging across channels including site, social, email, paid media, visual merchandising, product copy, SMS, etc
• Partner with design, marketing, and other teams to develop copy for various channels
• Assist with promo, GWP, sale copy, product, and shade naming
• Support with social ideation across IG and TikTok
• Proofread + fact-check product FAQ across packaging, VM, and site assets
• Work with marketing team on edits, reviews, and last-minute copy requests as needed
• Stay updated on cultural and social media trends to make sure messaging is relevant, appropriate, and uniquely our client
Qualifications:
• 5+ years as a copywriter, experience with similar scope of responsibilities
• Exceptional writing and proofreading skills, plus attention to detail
• Impeccable project management, organization, and communication skills
• Experience working with a defined brand voice
• Experience writing copy in various digital channels (site, social, email, etc)
• Experience and passion for beauty and the rapidly-evolving digital landscape
• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment is preferred
• Familiar with project management platforms like Asana
• Ideally based in Los Angeles
