In this role, you will work with the Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing to maintain progress against annual and quarterly SEO roadmaps. You will work on the content SEO team and partner cross-functionally with Web, Content Marketing and Web Dev to deploy the roadmap. Data-driven and with an eye for business impact, you will focus SEO efforts and work with the Director of Digital Marketing to influence broader resources toward maximizing traffic growth, driving conversion rate improvements and MQL generation from the organic web channel.

The ideal candidate has experience in content marketing and SEO within a lead gen-oriented capacity in the B2B and tech space. You have a superb command of SEO, familiarity with the B2B lead funnel and the tech/IT audience. You want to sharpen your business acumen and are a natural at driving process improvement via framework design, process development and automation wherever appropriate.

 

Responsibilities:

. Work with Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing to design and implement process improvements that increase both productivity and business impact

. Deliver against the annual SEO roadmap and provide the Marketing Organization progress reports

. Deployment and day-to-day management of SEO, serving as point of contact on content SEO for the MuleSoft Marketing org

. Work cross-functionally with Content Marketing, Integrated Campaigns, Web Marketing, Web Dev, PR and Product Teams to deliver on strategic roadmap

. Oversee day-to-day tactics that increase discoverability and improve keyword ranking, as measured by the business metrics of traffic and lead production

. Work with Analytics and Digital Marketing teams to identify and expose content gaps, using data to influence the content production and localization roadmaps

. Partner with Web Marketing and Web Dev on monetizing blog and SEO traffic

. Stay current on SEO trends and guide the organization through changes to the algorithm and SEO best practices

. Conduct keyword research and oversee day-to-day tactics that increase discoverability and improve keyword ranking

. Leverage Brightedge, Google Analytics, Tableau and Salesforce for data analysis and insights generation

 

Qualifications

. Strong domain knowledge within SEO (2-5 years experience)

. Passion for driving organic growth

. Intellectual curiosity and strong teamwork/collaboration proclivity

. Excellent cross-functional project management ability

. Familiarity with the technical audience and the B2B landscape

. Strong analytical skills

. Working proficiency with Google Analytics, SEMRush, BrightEdge (or similar platforms), Tableau (or other reporting tools)

. Understanding of the SaaS business model and/or the B2B sales cycle

. Self-starter with the ability to use data and industry insights to make strategic decisions

. Experience with managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

. Strong presentation and communication skills.

. Ability to communicate complex ideas with non-technical audiences succinctly

 

Additional Responsibilities:

. Drive organic search engine traffic by execution of key SEO programs

. Perform ongoing detailed keyword research for existing content areas, new product releases and acquisitions.

. Develop technical strategies to optimize our properties for indexation and to maximize the potential of our online content.

. Identify and spec out projects that will improve our on page ranking factors utilizing the latest SEO best-practices

. Be an evangelist on the benefits of SEO, and ensure that our website is the online leader for SEO best practice, implementation and outcome

 

Required Skills/Experience

. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Computer Science, or related field

. 2-4 years hands-on experience managing search engine optimization (SEO) programs for large scale International sites.

. Skill set must include strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

 

Desired Skills

. Detailed understanding of the current algorithm and ranking signals for Google and Bing. International a plus

. Experience optimizing large enterprise-class websites.

. Exceptional analytical skills and functional expertise with measurement and reporting tools (Omniture experience preferred).

. Experience with an in-house SEO department

.  Proven ability to deliver substantial increase in organic search engine traffic and corresponding end revenue through SEO

. Ability to drive programs and execute on a vision, together with strong interpersonal and reporting skills

. Experience with B2B or lead generation websites

. Familiarity with HTML and Javascript preferred
