Job description
As SEO Manager, you will play a key role in driving SEO initiatives to meet business objectives. You will be an integral member of the SEO Team, as we seek to achieve greater SERP visibility/prominence across search verticals. You will contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the business by leading strategic initiatives and overseeing the team. We are looking for someone who has an analytical mindset and the ability to collaborate with various team and individuals. This position reports to the Senior SEO Manager.
What you’ll do:
-Manage a remote team, providing guidance and support to ensure functional priorities are being met, while individuals are also growing in their SEO knowledge and expertise
-Serve as a cross functional thought partner representing SEO on strategy, tactics and execution
-Drive and execute projects such as site audits, migrations, and other SEO specific initiatives
-Track progress of deliverables and action items, keeping relevant stakeholders in the loop
-Help manage agency relationships, and coordinate the implementation of viable recommendations
-Monitor, analyze and report out on functional performance and key SEO metrics providing insights to cross functional partners
-Ensure accuracy, integrity & optimization of SEO related data and elements for multiple brands
-Ensure sites are optimized from a technical perspective, which requires active monitoring and a proactive approach to address issues and opportunities as they arise
-Identify content gaps and opportunities across search verticals to gain greater Share of Voice or SERP visibility, optimizing content as appropriate
-Ensure content marketing initiatives account for SEO goals as appropriate, and executed in line with SEO guidelines and best practices
What you bring to the table:
-4+ years of relevant experience Proficiency in various SEO tools
-Basic knowledge of HTML, CMS, JS and how they can affect
-SEO Experience with website analysis
-Proficiency in Excel and/or Data Management tools
-Ability to build working relationships across the organization and manage a remote team
-Leadership experience in the form of managing a team of individuals as well as projects
-Clear, concise communication
-Willingness to learn with a positive attitude
-Experience working with B2C content management system a plus
