Position Summary:

The Social Media Strategist will develop strategies that will grow the company’s social media following and expand our reach by building, and leveraging relationships with influencers, partners and ambassadors, and creating win-win strategies that expose our content to a growing audience. This position will develop and execute online and offline campaigns, including social media, digital marketing, influencer partnerships, event activation etc. to drive traffic to digital channels (social media and website). 


Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand
Develop social media marketing campaigns
Interacting with clients and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts
Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy to identify weakness; making recommendations for improvements
Researching social media trends and informing management of change that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
Setting KPIs for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes; measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
Design a strategic social media plan that aligns with our strategic initiatives and goals; develops the systems and tools, calendar and processes required to execute the plan effectively
Build active engagement and deep connection with our clients by sharing stories that inspire and create impact
Planning and executing initiatives to reach the target audience through different channels
Proposing new initiatives to attract prospects and convert leads as well as testing new approaches to capture existing demand
Analyzing marketing data and user feedback (campaign results, conversation rates, traffic, etc.) to help shape strategies


Experience developing social media strategies
Experience working with a marketing plan
Ability to develop the right voice for each social media platform yet maintain continuity
Proven ability to build social media communities
Understanding of graphic design principles


Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
5+ years of experience in social media marketing with a focus on strategy development, calendar planning, content creation, channel growth, and community management
