Job description
Our brand and social media agency is looking to hire a full time Sr. Designer! This is a great opportunity to join an amazing agency with a great client list. This is a remote opportunity! This creative will be curating and creating visually arresting digital and social content across all music genres and their respective artists. They will be able to speak to music with obvious passion, carrying a strong knowledge of the evolution of artistes and their signature styles. Design though, is their forte, and it will come across in their portfolio via a variety of bold, current aesthetics and graphical treatments.
Key Duties
- Develop strong, on-trend campaign work against creative briefs.
- Manage your time in a smart and efficient manner, clearly communicating with your manager ensuring everyone is on the same page at all touch points of the project.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the clients brand and use that knowledge to inform the creative output.
- Execute general design requests as needed to support the team (i.e. static social content, presentation deck design, some light motion design)
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing creative assets for social media campaigns
- Design and visualize content for all social media platforms
- A strong knowledge of leading social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Snapchat, Tiktok) and the features each platform offers and can be leveraged to produce engaging creative
- A knack for picking up brands’ visual identities, understanding why they work and switching between them quickly
- Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and delegating, when necessary, to a Jr. Designer
- A genuine interest and passion for music – you are a true music enthusiast who embraces and leverages popular culture
- Commitment to excellence — anticipating issues and communicating with diplomacy, identifying emerging platforms and trends to drive innovation
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for Mac – expert level in Photoshop and Illustrator
- Figma would be a huge plus, Sketch is occasional. Tends to be for people who understand sketch file to bring to life rather than working within it.
Not Mandatory, But A Plus!
- Illustration experience
- Some understanding of After Effect / Motion Design
