We’re looking for a mission-driven individual to lead and rapidly grow a team of topflight product designers, and create engaging and effective experiences that result in dramatically positive health outcomes. This person will be a key contributor within our org, and will work closely with our Engineering, Product, and Clinical team leaders.

Your approach begins with and returns to the end user. You see the big picture while looking to continuously improve every detail of our user experience. You have a keen design sense and the ability to critique and mentor designers to grow their skills and design better products and journeys for our users. You will bring process improvement, thought leadership, creative thinking, and mentorship to your team of designers. Your team members will thrive under your support and guidance.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Lead product experience creative vision; identify and visualize opportunities to up-level our product experiences to benefit our users
  • Mentor, grow, and manage a team of 4+ product designers
  • Collaborate with Product to identify and codify product requirements, based on user needs and business needs
  • Direct the design of layouts, interaction patterns, visual design, and system libraries Identify most important needs and opportunities for user research efforts
  • Collaborate with Engineering on process improvements
  • Communicate design vision and interaction with prototypes, presentations, and mocks
  • Lead the creation of product experiences that are simple, effective, and elegant at feature- and whole app-level

What We're Looking For:

Portfolio that showcases your strong skills in user experience, service, interaction and interface design

Demonstrated ability to develop and ship highly successful products with Keen sense of layout and visual hierarchy to support usability and efficacy

Strong sense for extensible systems and patterns Mastery over user research and user-centered design processes

Experience working with enterprise and/or internal users, and designing applications for their needs

Experience in planning and developing design systems, and extending them through an expanding portfolio of applications

Experience in UX writing and writing standards Strong, committed, nurturing leader with experience growing teams with high quality results, low attrition, and happy team members

Comfort in managing multiple projects and guiding delivery in a timely manner

Ability to provide thoughtful critique and helpful guidance to others

Comfortable presenting work at executive level and using design to build alignment

Ability to provide strong influence and impact on product direction by being a thoughtful, proactive partner with Product and Engineering colleagues

Solid history in leading UX, UI, HCI, product design and/or service design for consumer and/or enterprise web-served apps

Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Human-computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent

8+ years of UX/product/service design experience and 1+ years of people management experience

Fluency in industry standard tools for design and prototyping, EG Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Invision, Framer, Principle, Flinto, etc BONUS POINTS

Experience in healthcare, education, exercise, or other personal program delivery design

Experience in hardware, wearables, and/or hardware-based interfaces

Experience in packaging and OOBE Strength in illustration, iconography, motion design Fluency in mobile/responsive design

Design for accessibility and/or localizalization Master’s degree in Interaction Design, Customer Experience Design, HCI or similar
