Our client, an Entertainment Ad Agency, is looking for a Sr Art Director to join their team. This will be temp to perm and hybrid to their Culver City office.Role purpose: This role is best suited for a designer with an effortless eye for the latest digital trends, a deep knowledge of print, and a passion for film and print marketing.
Responsibilities
- Work in Adobe Creative Suite to create 2D Design for high-end printed branded content for campaigns.
- Create and oversee the development of a range of branded materials including: Key art, Digital Flyers, Zines and Workbooks, Presentations, Event Materials, Ads, Print Pieces, and Packaging Materials.
- Creatively produce new ideas and concepts, while working within the boundaries of the client brief.
- Work closely with the team to ideate, conceptualize, and create cohesive print campaigns.
- Maintain a photo asset library and source images to be used for various platforms.
- Understand print design strategies and the role print plays in bringing a brand’s story to life.
- Incorporate design direction and feedback from the Creative Director.
- Work on multiple projects with varying deadlines.
- Understand the print finishing process, including preparing files to finish.
- 7+ years experience with print design, focused on key art
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
- Experience in print and digital media marketing.
- Experience working with color correction, retouching, compositing.
- A strong understanding of typography and design.
- Interest and openness in collaborating with other team members.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and/or design issues.
- Strong attention to detail, making sure presented content is up to company standards.
- Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, or related field preferred.
- Experience working at an entertainment marketing agency or creative studio.
- Energetic, hardworking, and reliable.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment under tight deadlines, and with minimal supervision.
- Excellent creative concepting and problem-solving skills.
