THE ROLE:

In this senior role, the Sr. Creative Project Manager will manage all project planning, resources, integration, performance, monitoring and reporting. Additionally, the Sr. CPM will ensure adherence to deliverables, schedules, budgets and project requirements. The Sr. Creative Project Manager will facilitate effective communication across the business unit or function and outside of these as needed. He or she will address project risks, issues and problems, and report progress to management stakeholders on a recurring basis, as well as manage stakeholder expectations. Proactively assessing efficiencies and creating formal business cases as well as well project descriptions, documentation and work as a facilitator between the various internal organizations to ensure Creative technical policies and processes are negotiated, documented, and executed accurately.  The Sr. Creative Project Manager attends regularly scheduled meetings to understand the demand and need. In addition, works closely with the creative team, various partners within the organization and immediate group. The Sr. CPM will pre-empt potential problems and provide effective solutions in reaction to the concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes developed to support projects before and after market release.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 
  • Identify and present proven, and innovative, project management solutions to plan, staff, implement, control and evaluate Creative Projects.
  • Define project objectives, create schedules and oversee quality control.
  • Assign and manage Creative resources, third-party contractors and/or consultants
  • Provide project timelines to client and internal teams and maintain timing shifts throughout the duration of projects.
  • Identify the business and operational requirements based upon the business requirements & objectives of each project.
  • Display a high level of critical thinking in cross-functional process analysis and problem resolution.
  • Coordinate and build strong working relations with various internal organizations that include: Supply Chain, R&D, R&D Pack, Customization, Digital, Creative and Marketing teams and business partners globally.
  • Oversee, create and evolve the processes associated with requirements gathering, change management, and feasibility analysis.
  • Own the creative oversight from Creative Briefing, to Art Direction concept, Photo Shoot execution, and design deliverables and execution for primary/secondary packaging, customization & design, marketing collateral, visual merchandising support, and digital/social assets for Professional and New Product Development initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of Project Management experience.
  • 2-5 years of spreadsheet-based numerical analysis.
  • Proven track record in managing digital experiences across channels including rich media ads, cross-platform solutions, email, video, apps and campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Ability presenting to challenging audiences.
  • Excellent client-facing written / verbal communication and presentation skills, highly organized and strong attention to details.
  • Ability to effectively drive change.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation and problem resolution skills.
  • Demonstrate self-starter capability, requiring minimum supervision.
  • Understands the Trafficking requirements for Ad Operational teams and the effects of decision-making.
  • Experience using RoboHead, Wrike, or similar Creative Project Management software/program
  • Experience in assigning and managing creative resources, including understanding of creative project needs and technical terminology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and Google sites.
  • Ability to understand and implement new tools as necessary and appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-5 year’s marketing/product development, digital advertising and/or telecommunications experience preferred.
  • Experience in product development and advertising implementation preferred.
  • Experience within the Beauty industry preferred.
