Job description

The Senior Manager of Styling is responsible for developing and executing divisional brand styling for both print and digital photography assets. Within this role the Sr. Manager of Styling is responsible for ideating and incorporating new & emerging trends that keeps us relevant in the competitive marketplace. This role reports to the Director of Styling.


Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing & executing divisional monthly & seasonal styling needs, as well as various re- occurring projects, for both the marketing & online business
• Consistently manages multiple projects and timelines concurrently throughout each season inclusive of styling out for marketing campaigns, online & email editorial stories, social media, in-store & digital signage, TV, and vid
• Ability to Ideate and conceptualize seasonal styling direction and present a visual point of view through inspiration & mood boar
• Ability to manage & lead a team in day-to-day responsibilities as well as long-term career and development coaching. Strong ability to delegate work effectively
• Establishes high levels of communication and collaboration across multiple cross-functional teams to ensure seasonal styling supports key business strategies aligned on by the br
• Maintains a high level of knowledge and awareness of the fashion industry as well as current fashion &
retail trends within both our competitive landscape and the broader fashion landscape
• Maintains a clear understanding of brand’s aesthetic, seasonal product priorities, and current state of business in order to shift quickly and tailor work to support the needs of the business
• Leads styling walkthroughs with the leadership team to gain alignment and approval. Has a strong ability to balance multiple call-outs & POVs while working toward a unified vision
• Participates in seasonal marketing campaign shoots, often leading fittings and on-set styli

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fashion styling
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading a team of stylists
• Retail or Brand styling experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Strong ability to think & balance both creative with strategic deliverables
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to form effective partnerships across cross-functional teams – Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, Design, & Vis
• Extremely flexible, detail oriented, organized and self-motivated
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Strong work ethic, and deep interest in professional
