One of our licensed merchandise and e-commerce/retail clients is looking for a freelance TikTok Content Creator / Video Editor to join their team ASAP to help support content/video creation for TikTok Shop.
This freelance TikTok Content Creator / Video Editor will be producing video content for a number of licensed brands and responsible for ideating, creating, and editing engaging videos that can "go viral" and resonate with the TikTok audience.
The freelance TikTok Content Creator / Video Editor must have a passion for social media content creation, understand what "works", and have a sense of humor and know how to create funny, engaging content that motivates the audience to purchase licensed apparel, merch, etc.
Ideal freelance TikTok Content Creator / Video Editor candidates will have:
- Proven experience as a TikTok Content Creator or similar role, with a strong portfolio/reel of successful TikTok videos.
- Proficient in video shooting, editing, and post-production software (i.e. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of TikTok platform, trends, and best practices.
- Strong storytelling and visual communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency.
- Strong understanding of social media metrics and analytics.

- Experience with motion graphics and animation
- Passion for pop culture and licensed merchandise
- Develop and execute creative TikTok content strategies that align with the brand's objectives and target audience.
- Ideate, storyboard, and script TikTok videos that are engaging, entertaining, and shareable.
- Shoot and edit high-quality videos using professional equipment and software.
- Collaborate with the marketing/video content team to ensure the content aligns with brand guidelines and values.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest TikTok trends, features, and best practices to maximize content performance.
- Optimize videos for maximum reach, engagement, and virality.
- Monitor and analyze TikTok analytics to track the performance of content and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other team members, including graphic designers and social media managers, to create cohesive and cross-platform content.
