Full-time, salaried- position

100% remote

Salary: 100-130K

 

Fintech company is searching for a UX Researcher with at least 2-3 years of research experience. This person must be comfortable and have experience working on multiple projects at a time, so an element of project management is needed. On average, their researchers have about 3 projects in the queue, so it is a high-volume job. You will need to communicate with multiple stakeholders at once. This team focuses on usability testing and moderated interviews, NOT surveys or quantitative work (they have a separate team for that).

You:

  • Able to operationalize qualitative research insights into actionable, measurable UX goals and ensure accountability to these UX goals across the development lifecycle
  • Able to drive impact through a range of research approaches and tools, including internal and external literature review, qualitative methods (observation, contextual inquiry, interview), usability, experimentation, & survey research.
  • Able to work closely with other UX researchers to help design research plans and specific studies, as well as communicate findings with stakeholders and drive impact of the work.
  • Able to work independently executing research, including data collection, data analysis, reporting and knowledge consolidation.
  • Able to define studies and coordinate with colleagues to run multiple studies in parallel
  • Able to work effectively with cross-functional partners (e.g., UX design, hardware & software engineering, PM) to ensure our research accounts for their needs and creates a complete picture of the user experience.

Your Experience:

  • Strong sense of intellectual curiosity balanced with humility, drive and teamwork
  • Comfort using a variety of technologies to research data points to discover actionable conclusions
  • Experience with a broad range of research methodologies (usability studies, interviews, site visits, surveys, customer segmentation, card sorting, unmoderated studies, etc.).
  • Ability to quickly and effectively analyze data and present findings clearly to influence product design and direction.
  • The ability to communicate, track, and drive research insights with stakeholders to ensure positive impact on products in a fast-moving agile environment.
  • An ability to break large projects into smaller pieces to meet deadlines and ability to convert ideas into testable hypotheses and/or next steps
