Vice President of Marketing and Business Development

Our client is looking for a creative and experienced Marketing Leader to oversee the organization’s marketing ventures as well as direct and oversee the sales and business strategy for the organization. This primarily involves developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the company’s market presence. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for the job, able to employ unique marketing techniques. This person will be a skilled marketing strategist and able to drive creativity and enthusiasm in others while working toward the ultimate goal of increasing the company’s market share in order to thrive against competitors.

Vice President of Marketing and Business Development Responsibilities:

  • Create, plan, and execute a Marketing Strategy for the organization and for new and existing products or services
  • Develop and implement new product offerings
  • Develop a brand strategy
  • Oversee lead acquisition strategies
  • Own all company communication
  • Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary
  • Report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using pre-determined KPIs
  • Conduct market research studies
  • Responsible for all promotional material and print media
  • Assist Sales Team as needed
  • Coordinate Trade Shows/Conferences
  • Organize all email and call campaigns
  • Manage Third Party Relationships
  • Maintain and update company website
  • Manage and refine the organization’s social media presence

Vice President of Marketing and Business Development Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong networking and influencing skills
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Up to speed with current marketing techniques and best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree is a plus
  • 8-10 years of Marketing experience, including B2B
