VP/Director of Sales


Must live in the NYC Metro Area – No RELO – No Exceptions

Must have significant contemporary clothing sales experience at the Director or VP Level – No Exceptions

4 days a week in our client’s midtown office – No Exceptions

15+ years wholesale contemporary apparel sales experience

Job Summary:


In this role you will be responsible for the oversight and direction of the sales function for our contemporary sweater brand. You will be accountable for the overall sales performance, the profitable achievement of sales goals, and for aligning sales objectives with company’s business strategy. This is a leadership role and will oversee the overall productivity and effectiveness of the assigned teams within the sales department.




· Build and manage relationships with buyers and accounts

· Manage and grow current business while consistently looking for new business opportunities.

· Lead sales team

o Mentor and coach associates

o Provide quality feedback

o Manage performance and KPIs

· Meet and exceed sales, shipping & margin goals on a monthly, quarterly, seasonal, and annual basis

· Apply Situational Leadership Principals

· Understand and execute corporate and sales strategy

· Ensure team is maintaining, managing and executing a prospect List
