Regional Operations Manager

 

The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for supporting our, Outlet, and Concession businesses within their Region to meet and achieve the goals of their respective doors. This role will lead and execute all on the ground business operational functions and be the liaison and leader between each store and internal Client  teams including Buying and Planning, Store Design & Planning, Visual Merchandising, Distribution, Finance and IT. This role reports into the Retail Director and partners closely with HR.

 

Responsibilities:

 
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for all Store and Concession Managers for our retail stores and localized teams on our wholesale accounts (Department stores, specialty boutiques, etc).

  • Own sales results in each door, holistically analyzing each business to maximize results.

  • Lead store management teams in promoting a client-focused approach to meeting and exceeding all customer desires.

  • In partnership Human Resources and Retail Director: ensure that all store personnel, including management teams, are properly trained in all aspects of their job functions, policies and procedures, and that they are supported in their career development process.

  • Partner with Store Manager on identifying employee successes, performance management, and Annual Review Process.

  • Recruit talent for the market for both open positions as well as building a bench for future openings.

  • Support Marketing and PR team with in-store event planning, activation, press activity, and client outreach for stores within the region.

  • Become an expert on all aspects of Store Operations, Micros (POS) and Inventory Control processes.

  • Ensure loss prevention safeguards are being followed in each door; support store teams during Inventory Season.

  • Ensure Store Management teams are practicing effective cost control for all operating budgets including: maintenance, supplies payroll costs are controlled through productive scheduling practices.

  • Partner with a cross-functional team to ensure successful opening of new stores and renovations.

  • Work with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure that visual guidelines are being met and followed in each door.

  • Effectively facilitate communication between Store and Corporate partners, act as an advocate for retail stores.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of company and retail information and operations.

 

Requirements:

 
  • 3-5 Years Experience as a Multi-Store Leader with prior experience as a Store Manager

  • Experience working for a Luxury, Advanced Contemporary brand preferred

  • Comfort working with technology and new programs and platforms, such as CRM software, Salesforce Microsoft Excel, POS Systems (MICROS)

  • Adaptable yet elevated communication style and ability

  • Existing relationships in the local community and market
