Job description

As a Wholesale Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the Management Team in preparing the product line for meetings in San Francisco and New York. Your key responsibilities will include unpacking and prepping garments for presentation, organizing best sellers, tracking sales with other client customers, attending customer meetings, taking pictures of the buys, documenting style numbers and colors with customers, communicating changes to styles requested by customers to Design and Product Development teams, uploading information into customers' order management systems, reviewing orders after market and ensuring correctness of styles, colors, price, delivery details etc., managing the sample process including tracking and communication for customer samples and photo shoots.

Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up products within internal product database system. You will maintain various systems to manage purchase orders and monitor shipping status. Clear communication with external clients regarding purchase orders and shipping status is crucial. You should be able to react quickly to changes in order to ensure on-time delivery for pre-season and chase orders.

Building strong relationships with cross-functional partners is essential as you will work closely with them to manage receipts and help resolve any product issues that may arise. Pulling weekly vendor selling reports and sharing them internally is also part of your responsibilities.

To qualify for this role, you should have
  • a Bachelor's Degree or Fashion degree along with at least 1 year of professional work experience preferably in an office setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite as well as Google Workspace Apps is required.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit along with flexibility to thrive in a dynamic environment is highly desired.
  • A working knowledge of retail math is beneficial.
    Strong organizational skills along with attention to detail are a must-have for this role.
  • Strong data entry skills are required as well as excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Being a team-oriented individual who can prioritize tasks under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines is crucial.
