Job description

Apparel Brand is looking to hire a Wholesale Sales Assistant to support Off-price and private label accounts for their Sales team!

  • Download style & store selling reports for OP & and hard key Private Label data, review plans of action with Director, share with internal teams.
  • Send recap shipping updates to customers.
  • Send ATS linesheets and excel inventory to buyers, then enter orders.
  • Prep for OP Weekly touch base meetings.
  • Attend fittings and update notes, send samples for buyer approval.
  • Manage all PO/EDI issues, shipping, communication with customer service and warehouse.
  • Own Sample Log & racks-log/send incoming and outgoing to customers and Private label SMS, PPs & TOPs approvals.
  • Monthly online comp shopping and seasonal store visits, recap design team.
  • Light Adobe PDF updating of boards to customers.
  • Work with design, sourcing and production on customer requests including sure dev sheets are up to date with costs and design notes.
  • Work with accounts seasonally on digital asset needs.
  • Answer product related, general questions.
  • Upload seasonal images to JOOR.
  • Assisting in market recap meeting preparation and other special reporting or research projects as they arise.
  • Support design & sourcing to keep sample line, swatches and boards organized.
  • Own showroom/zoom/travel setup for all appointments.
  • Own sample line and swatch racks, handle sending/receiving ensure all are labeled correctly and whereabouts noted on log.
  • Manage all notes per accounts and support Director’s follow-up.
  • Manage all order entry and shipping, communication with customer service and warehouse.
  • Ensure all pertinent order data is added to linesheets for each account.
  • Support Director of Sales with projects needed.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office including STRONG Excel skills including formulas & v-lookups
  • Experience using JOOR and/or Full-Circle a plus!
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, must have a positive attitude
  • Team player and reliable
  • Drives to help Director meet and exceed departments sales goals and customer expectations
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic environment
  • Respond/acknowledge all emails in a timely manner, sense of urgency
  • Strong Excel and Retail Math skills. Must have a thorough understanding of retail sales and the ability to analyze sell throughs, sales to stock, etc.
