Wholesale Sales Representative needed for a TEMP assignment covering a maternity leave. In this role, you will report to the Sales Manager and support day to day functions including maintaining and building client relations, maintaining sales goals, growing accounts and more!Start date: ASAP
Schedule: Hybrid – 2-3 days a week in-office.
Location: Culver City, CA
Duration: 4-6 months
*Experience working within athleisure wear a plus!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage wholesale distribution within fashion boutiques, outdoor specialty stores, fitness studios, resorts/spas/golf courses and gym-athletic clubs in our Southwest Territory
• Meet and exceed seasonal and monthly sales goals
• Forecast and plan out future season goals within territory
• Use reporting to analyze opportunities within the territory by division, by region and by account type
• Expand distribution by opening new accounts while also growing existing account base
• Onboard new customers on our B2B platform, JOOR
• Conduct quarterly meetings both digitally, in person on the road, and at trade shows with a large wholesale customer base
• Travel in the territory to prospect new stores, check inventory in existing stores, gain reorders, ensure product is properly merchandised, educate staff on brand, and cultivate relationship with buyers/owners/managers
• Attend both national and regional tradeshows, conferences and sales meetings
• Help plan and implement retail-marketing plans in territory
• Support strategic account team initiatives such as product knowledge trainings
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be located in Culver City, CA area
• Experience working remotely in the territory (out of a home office)
• 2-3 years of experience in sales; preferably in wholesale sales
• Bachelor’s degree
• Familiarity with the athleisure market, studio community
• Fluent in Microsoft Suite with a good foundation in Excel
• Understanding of retail math
• Balance several projects and create strong relationships with buyers in the territory
• Must live in the territory, have a valid driver's license, and car. NOTE: Travel is local travel within the territory as described in the job description.
