We are looking for a Packaging Designer with 4+ years of experience located in Portland, OR. Hours: 40hr/week
Description:
- Packaging design experience with CPG or GM layouts, and compliance (familiarity with FPLA, NIST regulatory rules for packaging).
- Must have packaging-specific experience (it’s a steep learning curve without prior experience), and ability to visualize 3D objects.
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external clients, including the ability to concisely communicate written guidance via email, artboard instructions, proofing comments and routing feedback.
- Excellent spelling, proofreading.
- Proficient with brand development, logo/icon illustration, Style Guide maintenance, file archive systems and digital library content maintenance.
- Prepress knowledge, including color separation understanding and packaging files for release to 3rd party agencies.
- Excellent Adobe Illustrator skills, including pantone connect and custom extensions/libraries.
- Experienced in Outlook, Teams, Excel, InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop, cloud-based/digital proofing software.
Bonus if they have experience with:
- Adobe Workfront
- Commercial photography studio art direction & lifestyle photo styling.
- Enterprise-sized promo/projects.
- CAD or dyeline development.
