Our client, a life sciences leader, is looking to bring on aProcurement/Supply Chain Contractor, starting ASAP 2024 through end of June 2024. Role will be onsite.Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the incoming and outgoing of materials to meet customer expectations which involve receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control.
- Performs a wide variety of planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting tasks in support of the manufacturing workflow.
- Coordinates and monitors workflow, assisting in scheduling and prioritizing activities in assigned distribution area.
- Coordinate with off-site warehousing facilities for parts replenishment and material for storage
- Work with appropriate purchasing/logistics/production personnel to resolve part shortages
- Reconcile and root cause inventory discrepancies
- Performs manual and/or clerical duties that may utilize various systems / WMS involved in receipt or preparation of materials for shipment.
- Maintains compliance with relevant local, country and international guidelines. May have responsibility for fulfillment administration and processes.
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
- High school Diploma/GED or local equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in supply chain
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Abe to lift between 15 and 50 pounds.
- Proficient in basic mathematics
- Knowledgeable of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc)
