Our fashion client is looking for a Sales Assistant to add to their team.
Type of Job: Full Time Direct Hire
Location: Chatsworth, CA / Fully On-Site
Schedule: Mon-Fri / 8:30 AM - 5 PM
Salary: $50K - $60K dependent on experience*
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Sales Assistant is responsible for supporting the sales team in order to contribute to all processes that will aid in profitable sales growth. This individual will handle details of the business including sales reports, inventory management, meeting preparation, meeting follow-up, warehouse communications and working cross-functionally across multiple departments to ensure Sales team needs are met efficiently and effectively. Time management, prioritization of responsibilities and attention to detail are all critical to success in this role.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inventory tracking and management
- Customer PO tracking and approvals
- Manage PO logs for customers
- Work with order processing and shipping team to track and manage orders, trouble shoot issues
- Pull weekly sales from customer portal for sales team analysis
- Preparing materials, samples, and physical spaces for all retailer and internal meetings, ensuring that all recaps and documents are prepared in a timely manner
- Professionally following up with retailers on all open issues and opportunities.
- Working with Customer Service to quickly solve and clear all order complications
- Working with warehouse on all necessary shipping and packing details
- Traveling to stores and/or customers as needed to support the business
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Ability to work on-site 5 days a week
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent follow-up and attention to detail
- Exemplary organizational skills
- Flexibility and able to shift priorities easily
- Professional manner
- Ability to work well with others on cross-functional teams
- Ability to travel to stores to research assortment opportunities
