Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and highly organized Account Manager, Partnerships to oversee the day-to-day delivery of partnership marketing and sponsorship programs. This client-facing role is ideal for someone who combines strong project management skills with strategic thinking, relationship management, and a deep interest in sports, media, and brand partnerships.

The Account Manager will help lead sponsorship portfolio management, coordinate integrated activation programs, and support broader account planning. You will work closely with clients, agency partners, vendors, and internal teams to ensure programs are executed smoothly, strategically, and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations for client sponsorship platforms, including project plans, timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Develop and maintain sponsorship rights, asset tracking, allocation, and reconciliation processes.
  • Coordinate activation programs with internal stakeholders, external agencies, partners, and vendors.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and points of view for sponsorship initiatives, including event activations, hospitality, talent and influencer programs, content, media integration, and customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with client contacts, rights holders, partners, and vendors.
  • Lead key internal and external meetings, status calls, and project updates.
  • Manage project budgets, invoice tracking, and payment deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve program performance, operational efficiency, and client value.
  • Support senior account leadership with account planning, presentations, and business development initiatives.
  • Contribute industry knowledge and informed perspectives on partnership marketing trends and emerging opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in partnership marketing, sponsorships, account management, event marketing, or activation management.
  • Demonstrated client-facing account management experience.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to independently manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Knowledge of sports business, sports media, intellectual property rights, sponsorships, leagues, or teams.
  • Experience supporting on-site events, vendor management, and event execution.
  • Ability to think strategically, solve problems independently, and translate ideas into actionable plans.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when managing assets, budgets, and timelines.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to travel up to approximately 30% of the time.
  • Availability to work occasional weekends, holidays, and nontraditional hours as business needs require.
