Administrative Assistant – Junior
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day office operations for a fast-paced organization in the retail industry. This freelance opportunity is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable handling a variety of administrative tasks while working with internal teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support including scheduling, calendar coordination, and meeting preparation.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation in both digital and physical formats.
- Assist with data entry, report preparation, and routine correspondence.
- Answer and route phone calls, emails, and other communications professionally.
- Coordinate office supplies, shipping, mail distribution, and other operational tasks.
- Support onboarding, internal events, and departmental projects as needed.
- Work closely with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned administrative duties.
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative, clerical, or office support experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative training is a plus.
