Our client, a global entertainment network is seeking an Associate Account Executive (Media Sales). This is a 3 month contract that is onsite M-Th with potential to extend.
This opportunity is ideal for a media sales professional who understands both linear and digital advertising and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. The role supports revenue growth, helping drive business with agencies and clients through strategic planning, campaign coordination, and persuasive sales support.
In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with clients and agency partners, uncover customer needs, and turn those insights into compelling advertising opportunities. You will support account executives by preparing proposals, responding to RFPs, developing presentations, coordinating campaign assets, and helping execute campaigns across sports, broadcast, entertainment streaming, social, and digital channels. You will also partner closely with internal teams including planning, research, marketing, operations, and category vertical teams to ensure campaigns are positioned effectively and delivered successfully.
The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of relevant media experience, including exposure to linear and/or digital platforms. You should have strong media math and analytical skills, the ability to manipulate and present data clearly, and confidence working with both internal stakeholders and external clients. Experience in studio, agency, or sales environments is highly valued. Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and prioritization skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects with speed and professionalism.
This freelance opportunity may include responsibilities across the full campaign lifecycle, from pre-sales support and pitch development to active campaign management and post-sale recap coordination. You will help identify new business opportunities, support client retention efforts, and contribute to a culture of inclusion and excellence across the advertising sales organization.
