Associate Technical Accessory Designer | Lafayette, CO
Our client in the fashion/accessories space is looking for an Associate Technical Accessory Designer to join their team! This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for someone with strong technical design skills who can move quickly between projects and products.
What you’ll do:
- Create tech packs, technical sketches, product designs + CADs
- Support product development across headwear, bags, socks, cold-weather accessories + novelties
- Conduct trend research and develop design inspiration
- Partner with design, sales and production teams to bring products to life
- Work with prints, knits, hardware, materials + construction details
- Collaborate with global teams and troubleshoot design/production challenges
- Maintain creative/design resources and showroom materials
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field

3+ years of technical design experience
- Strong Adobe Illustrator skills — key requirement
- Proficiency with Photoshop + InDesign
- Experience with PLM systems (WFX preferred)

Adobe Firefly / AI design experience is a plus
- Strong organization, communication and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a very fast-paced environment
