Coordinator, Events & Client Development (Fashion Client)

Responsibilities

Oversight / General

  • Support execution of the annual marketing plan, driving sales across retail and wholesale channels
  • Manage comprehensive marketing calendars including retail, wholesale, store openings, email campaigns, and promotions
  • Oversee trafficking of all marketing collateral to ensure timely delivery
  • Partner with accounting to track invoices, maintain budget adherence, and ensure timely payment
  • Coordinate retail and wholesale advertising plans, including budget management, material requests, and added value opportunities
  • Support development and execution of the events program aligned to retail and wholesale initiatives
  • Manage event calendars and budgets, ensuring all activities are delivered within scope
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships with internal teams and global headquarters

Advertising / Promotions

  • Maintain and update media plans on a monthly basis, ensuring alignment with business priorities
  • Manage advertising budgets with flexibility as business needs evolve
  • Coordinate with production teams and global HQ to ensure timely delivery of assets to local publications
  • Track and manage creative assets from global teams to external vendors (e.g., printers, media partners)
  • Identify and secure added-value marketing opportunities with local partners
  • Monitor campaign performance and advertising effectiveness
  • Collaborate with global teams to execute a robust omni-channel retail promotion calendar
  • Partner with retail locations and malls to maximize both paid and organic marketing opportunities
  • Explore and manage third-party partnerships to enhance brand visibility

Event & Activation Management

  • Identify and build partnerships to support retail and wholesale event initiatives
  • Develop and execute grand opening events and in-store activations
  • Manage vendor relationships (catering, florists, modeling agencies, AV, production, etc.), including sourcing, budgeting, and negotiations
  • Execute client-facing selling events aligned to commercial objectives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (buyers, store managers, CRM teams) to align on event goals
  • Oversee all event components including talent, production, gifting, and logistics
  • Manage invitations, guest lists, and RSVP tracking
  • Communicate event concepts, timelines, and recaps to global stakeholders
  • Coordinate with press and styling teams to ensure alignment across all elements
  • Develop and track event KPIs (e.g., sales, client acquisition, conversion)
  • Build post-event follow-up strategies to drive client retention and loyalty

Experience & Key Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-3+ years of experience in marketing, events, or related fields (fashion/retail preferred)
  • Strong ability to develop and execute marketing plans, programs, and promotional initiatives
  • Experience managing budgets, invoicing, and vendor relationships
  • Demonstrated strength in campaign management, marketing automation, and database marketing
  • Creative, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think beyond traditional marketing approaches
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and collaborative team player
